Hello- I’m Melanie Forrester and I enjoy helping students, families and parents/carers. I provide private 1:1 careers guidance sessions for students and graduates age 15-25+. I offer support just when your student needs it during the year, and for as many sessions as they need. I handhold each student and graduate through the process of research, reflection, decision making and prioritisation around their next vocational or educational steps. Think of it a bit like Maths tutoring - why would you seek Maths support? To become more confident around GCSE or A level and gain great grades. Careers tutoring does the same - it helps students to reach their full potential.

Careers tutoring supports students to consider educational and careers steps. It has developed in response to parent requests for more time with students to discuss and plan ideas.

  • UK Schools, colleges and universities now provide highly qualified & experienced Careers Counsellors. However students can usually access 1 career session. Most students need much more support to decide options

  • A Careers Counsellor for 12 years, I know the limitations of what can and what can’t be covered in 1 short session.
