Session Fees

My Careers Tutor Session Fees

  • All students/graduates start with a Diagnostic Session.

  • Following Diagnosis, it will be clear how many sessions are needed to support student aims.

    Typical costs:

  • Initial Diagnostic Session is £150 including parent discussion, psychometric and post session written summary.

  • Further sessions are £100 each including homework, weekly email support and initial review of documents.

  • If booking 3+ sessions in advance, the fee reduces to £95 per session.

  • Post session bespoke research and post session document editing are additional extras.

    Number of sessions:

  • Y10-Y13 discussions around Post 16 and Post 18 next steps usually need Diagnosis, then 1-2 sessions.

  • Y13 support - decide courses/universities/craft a Personal Statement, usually takes Diagnosis and up to 6 sessions.

  • Gap Year and undergraduate Summer internship applications usually requires Diagnosis and 2-4 sessions.

  • Graduate job search & Apprenticeships requires Diagnosis and 2-10 sessions, depending on aims and deadlines.

  • All progress is dependent on students committing to agreed homework and action items.

    • Age: any age from year 7 (age 12) and particularly useful for Y10.

    • Includes: Parent conversation, pre session psychometric, Diagnostic session, homework setting, written summary £150. (Y7-Y10 students usually only need one session).

    • Includes: Full post 16 discussion around Sixth Form/College/Apprenticeship options and careers ideas, in order to create Plan A, B and C detailing ideal A levels/Diplomas and pathways with associated onward degree/apprenticeship ideas.

    • Diagnostic first session includes parent discussion, pre session psychometric, post session summary, homework setting and email support £150.

    • How many sessions: Y11 Students usually need Diagnosis plus 1-2 further sessions to research all options and make decisions.

    • Further sessions: £100 per session or £95 if booking 3 in advance.

    • Includes: Discussions around University, ideal subject choices, criteria around Unis, Uni visit strategy, Uni residential tasters & Subject Masterclasses, Work Experience, volunteering. Also Degree Apprenticeship ideas/strategy.

    • Diagnostic first session includes parent discussion, pre-session psychometric, post session summary, homework setting and email support £150.

    • Number of sessions: Y11 Students usually need Diagnosis plus 1-2 sessions to research all options and make decisions.

    • Summer Personal Statement writing : If rising Y13 students wish support to write a Personal Statement over Y12 summer (or during autumn term Y13) then up to 6 sessions are required.

    • Further sessions: £100 per session or £95 if booking 3 in advance.

    • Includes: Full Post 18 careers discussion, degree and Degree Apprenticeship strategy discussion, Work Experience options. Optional Personal Statement support.

    • Diagnostic first session includes parent discussion, pre-session psychometric, post session summary, homework setting and email support £150.

    • How many sessions required: Usually Diagnosis plus up to 3 sessions are required to discuss options.

    • Personal Statement Support: If students wish support to write a UCAS Personal Statement over Y12 summer or during autumn Y13 then Diagnosis, plus up to 6 sessions are required.

    • Further sessions: £100 per session or £95 if booking 3 in advance.

    • Includes: Full careers discussion, complimentary Personality & careers psychometric, identification of ideal opportunities, working together to create a Master CV, cover letter and Linked In profile. Full applications support and digital and in person interview practice. Where needed, psychometric ability test prep, assessment centre prep. Hand-holding through the application process.

    • How many sessions: Usually Diagnosis plus 4-10 sessions needed.

    • Diagnostic first session includes parent discussion, pre-session psychometric, post session summary, homework setting and email support £150.

    • Further sessions: £100 per session or £95 if booking 3 in advance. Sessions do not have to be weekly- they can be booked as needed.

    • Includes: Complimentary personality and careers psychometric. Discussions on short/long term aims, how to research ideal opportunities around work/travel/learning. Create SMART project plan, discuss & apply to Uni/Apprenticeships.

    • Diagnostic first session includes parent discussion, pre-session psychometric, post session summary, homework setting and email support £150.

    • How many sessions: Usually Diagnosis plus 2-3 sessions are needed to discuss aims, plan goals and create collateral for any preferred applications.

    • Cost: £100 per session, falling to £95 where 3+ are booked.

    • Potential Discussions: In depth self-analysis, SMART goals around understanding ideal careers, then identifying ideal internships, full applications support, psychometric ability testing prep, interview prep.

    • Diagnostic first session includes undergrad /parent discussion, pre-session psychometric, post session summary, homework setting and email support £150.

    • How many sessions: Usually Diagnosis plus 2-4 sessions needed with homework to discuss aims, plan goals, find opportunities, create CV, Cover Letter & Linked In Profile.

    • Further sessions: £100 per session or £95 if booking 3 in advance. Book as many sessions as needed.

    • Includes: Full career/employability discussion, coaching around ideal sectors/careers. Creation of Master CV, Cover letter, Linked In. End to end applications support, employer testing, interview practice/ assessment centre prep.

    • Potential Discussions: Annual Graduate Recruitment Schemes/Milkround, local SME opportunities. Full application preparation, & 1:1 support through recruitment process.

    • Diagnostic first session includes undergrad/parent discussion, pre-session psychometric, post session summary, homework setting and email support £150.

    • How many sessions: Usually Diagnostic plus 6 sessions needed to discuss & achieve goals.

    • Further sessions: £100 per session or £95 if booking 3 in advance.

    • Includes: Full career discussion to evaluate ideal roles/sectors/companies. Complimentary personality and careers psychometric. Full graduate job search support - Master CV, Cover letter, Linked In identifying ideal roles, applications support, employer testing prep, digital interviewing and assessment centre prep.

    • Diagnostic first session includes graduate /parent discussion, pre-session psychometric, post session summary, homework setting and email support £150.

    • How many sessions: Usually Diagnosis plus 6+ sessions needed to achieve goals.

    • Further sessions: £100 per session or £95 if booking 3 in advance.

    • Description: Ideal for family and friends who want to gift a valuable learning experience, ensuring lifelong skills in decision-making and job search. Or just some help to create a CV or win a new role!

    • Cost: Any amount as required.

    • Description: I offer a complimentary 15-minute call. Or if an extended sessions for in-depth discussions:

    • Session: 1hr to talk through your student’s school journey so far, their personality, strengths, learning style, possible areas and pathways of interest. Also what parents can do to develop student self-understanding considering relevant summer schools, residential tasters, subject masterclasses, work experience, & public lectures. We also discuss potential barriers to success (confidence, aspiration, energy) and how to support students to overcome these.

    • Cost: £100
